What is mandatory harvest reporting?

Starting December 2025, North Carolina requires all anglers who catch and keep Red Drum, Southern Flounder, Spotted Seatrout, Striped Bass, or Weakfish to report their harvest. Fish Log makes this reporting quick and easy.

Do I need an account to submit reports?

No. You can submit harvest reports without creating an account. However, joining as a Rewards Member (free) lets you track your fishing history, earn rewards entries, and participate in the community catch feed.

Is Fish Log affiliated with NC DMF?

No. Fish Log is an independent app that helps anglers submit reports to the NC Division of Marine Fisheries. Always consult official DMF sources at deq.nc.gov for current regulations.

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account from within the app (Profile > Edit Profile > Delete Account) or by visiting our Account Deletion page. All your data will be permanently removed.

What if I submitted an incorrect report?

Contact us at fishlogco@gmail.com with your confirmation number and we'll help you correct it.
